Brezen Kolb in Nuremberg

Very tasty and very friendly!

Actually always excellent, but we had bad luck with the pepper pretzels: Unfortunately, they were hard, and that in the headquarters. Salt pretzels perfect.

The bistro / café is unfortunately currently closed. However, there is a lunch table to take away. There are dishes around the "pretzel", z. B. Pretzel dumplings with mushroom sauce. At the moment you can get to the train faster in a store than in a drive-in.

It's a shame, last Sunday I wanted to try the main dishes for the first time, which was also nicely advertised on the homepage and on the front door. Unfortunately, according to the employee's statement, they haven't had a kitchen since Corona, so one wonders how long has this Corona existed and why the door and the homepage don't know ... After all, the employee was friendly, so actually five stars for him and 0 stars for the administration. The Drive Inn is of no use either ;-)

the pretzels are getting worse every year ... tough as rubber hits pretty well ... when they were still sold through wooden huts they always tasted great ... now there are nice shops but the pretzels are from the day before .. actually sad .. everyone who knows the old brezen will not be satisfied anymore ...

Kolb's pretzels must have tasted a little different 30 years ago. Unfortunately, I don't even remember that in detail. The unique taste has just made me happy since I was a child. The Kolb just has no competition. In times of Corona, you can get your pretzels very easily and quickly at the counter. There are distance markings on the floor, what can the piston do if people are too stupid to stick to them.

Completely logical: in damp weather, the pretzels immediately become tough. It has always been like this. Still absolutely no comparison to before! The pretzels are just no longer crispy and lye. The dough is too yeasty and soft, the crust no longer exists. No more fragrance and no more cracks. The pretzel crust looks completely different. Using sea salt instead of rock salt was also an extremely bad decision. If so, you can only buy those from the old production site on Fürther Straße, otherwise you can switch better (and at least 50% cheaper) to the discounter goods or other baking blanks, or simply leave it because you don't use the additives etc. . want to avoid. How infinitely sad ...

We particularly recommend the Obazda pretzel. My absolute favourite. Practical with the drive-in, especially if you have children in the car and don't have to buckle and buckle them all up again.

The pretzels are the best in town. BUT: They were even better before the big building. And there was still real fine salt on it. Today it is unfortunately only mixed with a lot of flour.

As always, fantastic breakfast at fair prices. However, you should make a reservation if you want to go there. It's always full here. Which of course also speaks for the quality.

I really like the bretzel, and offered as a Bavarian breakfast with omelet, ham and coffee is the top!

The staff is very efficient, which must also be with the rush, but for me the friendliness is missing. The rooms are large and very comfortable to sit on. The choice of dishes is adequate.

Shady outside spaces at the drive-in. Good implementation of the hygiene concept. Sufficient parking space. Not a classic beer garden, but still a good meeting place. And the pretzels are the world's best anyway.

I am divided. Pretzels delicious. But with further processing (butter on the pretzel) there is a lack of care. And there is light and shadow with the staff. I get grumpy if I have to repeat my order 3 times because you only remember one item at a time.

Pretzels are really delicious and always fresh. The warm food is also really good. The selection is large and there are also sweet pretzels for those with a sweet tooth. Unfortunately, the service hasn't gotten better in years. You always have to wait a long time. Whether inside or on the DriveIn. Every time you have to get annoyed by unfriendly, slow, disinterested staff. Really so, so such a shame and incomprehensible.

Sensationally fresh pretzels. Great breakfast selection. Good prices. Enough parking and seating. Very friendly and nice staff. We were there for the first time today and definitely not the last time!

Have eaten pretzels here many times. These are simply incredibly tasty and there is a lot of choice. Today we were having breakfast. For me the breakfast was very sufficient and of course extremely fine. The staff was nice. It was very busy, but still found a place. Gladly again
